Sunglasses at marathons

A Maui Jim sunglasses display and ?Lifestyle Lounge? featuring endurance athletes will be part of a 2-day Health and Fitness Expo for runners and casual shoppers before Rock ?n? Roll Marathon Series events in Seattle June 25 and in Chicago Aug. 14.

Peoria, IL-A Maui Jim sunglasses display and “Lifestyle Lounge,” featuring endurance athletes, will be part of a 2-day Health and Fitness Expo for runners and casual shoppers before Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series events in Seattle June 25 and in Chicago Aug. 14.

Launched in 1998, the marathon series is so named because live bands perform at every mile along the course. Proceeds from the Seattle and Chicago races will benefit the American Cancer Society.

“Not everyone is a marathon runner, but everyone can come to one of these marathons, get inspired to be healthy, and have a great time,” said Linda Glassel, vice president of marketing for Maui Jim. “Plus, visitors can come and learn about protecting their eyes while running in different running conditions, from low light to bright light."

Races will be held in 19 cities nationwide this year. For more information about the series, visit www.competitor.com.
