Record attendance for IVEE

Preliminary unaudited attendance figures for the 2011 International Vision Expo East (IVEE) show a 7% increase in attendance over 2010 figures, according to show organizers.

Norwalk, CT-Preliminary unaudited attendance figures for the 2011 International Vision Expo East (IVEE) show a 7% increase in attendance over 2010 figures, according to show organizers.

“This year’s 25th anniversary show was incredible,” said Tom Loughran, vice president for Reed Exhibitions, who added that this year’s event offered 565 exhibitors and more than 300 hours of continuing education. The number of attendees from outside the United States is increasing, he said.

Next year, the conference will be March 22 to 25, and the exhibition will be March 23 to 25 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. Show dates have been confirmed with the Javits Center through 2015 and will continue to be in the March/April timeframe, according to show organizers.
