Opththonix hires financial officer

San Diego—Thomas A. George has joined Ophthonix Inc. as its chief financial officer. George, a CPA with more than 27 years of financial management experience, will oversee all financial controls, organization, and relationships.

San Diego-Thomas A. George has joined Ophthonix Inc. as its chief financial officer. George, a CPA with more than 27 years of financial management experience, will oversee all financial controls, organization, and relationships.

He most recently was chief financial officer of Oakley Inc., a consumer products company providing premium sunglasses, prescription eyewear frames and lenses, and more.

Ophthonix is developing a "high definition" vision correction technology it says will provide superior optical clarity and crispness.
