No-glare education

Essilor of America has launched No-Glare.com, a new digital resource for eye-care professionals and patients.

Dallas-Essilor of America has launched No-Glare.com, a new digital resource for eye-care professionals and patients.

The Web site was developed to drive understanding about the benefits of no-glare lenses. It offers eight training videos that cover a range of real-life situations in which patients benefit from wearing no-glare lenses.

“Only 35% of Americans have no-glare lenses, which is why Essilor recognized the need for refreshed education,” said Howard Purcell, OD, FAAO, Dipl., vice president of customer development, Essilor of America. “No-Glare.com addresses this need and reminds eye-care professionals to create a dialogue with their patients about the many benefits that no-glare lenses can provide.”

Eye-care professionals also may participate in a training program related to the Web site. Those who correctly answer simple multiple choice questions at the end of each video will receive a certificate from Essilor stating that they have completed the company’s No-Glare training program. To learn more about the lenses or access the training videos, visit www.No-Glare.com/training.
