Live Eyewear purchased by company's president

San Luis Obispo, CA-Live Eyewear, a privately held corporation that manufactures OveRx (designed to be worn over prescription) sunglasses, was purchased by the company's president, Kieran Hardy. The transaction was completed in early December; terms of the sale were not disclosed.

The eyewear manufacturer has been led by Hardy since the company's inception in late 2001. The company manufactures OveRx sunwear for sale by eye-care professionals (ECPs) and a select number of higher quality specialty channels. OveRx brands include Cocoons, Vistana, EyeArmor, and Live Xtreme.

"We believe that both service and product innovation is essential to the continued growth of our company and customers."
