Ford 'Super Vision Center' opens

The Henry Ford OptimEyes Super Vision Center has opened in the new Henry Ford Medical Center. The 140,000-square-foot facility includes 65,000 square feet of space for the Henry Ford OptimEyes Super Vision Center, with the remaining space expected to be leased out to private-practice physicians.

Dearborn, MI-The Henry Ford OptimEyes Super Vision Center has opened in the new Henry Ford Medical Center. The 140,000-square-foot facility includes 65,000 square feet of space for the Henry Ford OptimEyes Super Vision Center, with the remaining space expected to be leased out to private-practice physicians.

This vision center's opening means that services currently offered at two other Henry Ford Medical Centers will be consolidated into a single location. The center will feature a number of new services, including an on-site full-service lab for same-day glasses.

The center will offer comprehensive optometry and ophthalmology care, including complete eye examinations and diabetic eye exams; evaluation and treatment of eye injuries; advanced medical and surgical treatment for eye conditions, including those affecting the retina, neuro-ophthalmologic conditions, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration; ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery; and pediatric eye care.
