AlphaRx adds Dr. Berlin to scientific advisory board

Markham, Ontario, Canada-AlphaRx Inc. announced the appointment of Michael S. Berlin, MD, MS, to its scientific advisory board.

Dr. Berlin is currently a clinical professor at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, University of California, Los Angeles. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He has researched and published numerous books and articles on glaucoma and laser surgery, and he is regularly invited to lecture at professional conferences, both in the United States and internationally.

Dr. Berlin also is the founder and director of the Glaucoma Institute-Beverly Hills, and he is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in laser surgery and in the research and treatment of glaucoma.
