Workshops for career focus

Workshops and special interest group meetings also will cover a widerange of topics. Sunday, May 4, both "Your Career Vision: Focusingon the Future" and "Science and the Marketplace: A Common Future"are scheduled from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, "Evolving Tools in Ocular Research: Transgenic andKnockout Technologies," the Ethics Symposium, the National Eye InstituteWorkshop, and the International Advocacy Symposium are slated to begin at1:45 p.m. and run until 3:15 pm.Tuesday, May 6, the International Members Forum and the Career PlanningWorkshop for Postdocs and Students will begin at 1:45 p.m. and end at 3:15p.m.Wednesday, May 7, a Career Fair is slated to be held from noon until4 p.m.; and a Clinician Scientist Forum, National Institutes of Health GrantsWorkshop-the Grant Review Process, and the Investigative Ophthalmology andVisual Science Work-shop all run from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 8, Pizzawith a Prof will run from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., and the Journal of VisionWorkshop will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
