Solutions for lens comfort

About 35 million Americans currently wear contact lenses. Discomfort or inconvenience, however, causes about 10% of them to stop wearing their lenses. The advent of multi-purpose contact lens solutions solved a great many of the problems with disinfection, storage, and conditioning, and enhanced the comfort and convenience of contact lens wear. Manufacturers have continued to improve these multipurpose solutions, adding various ingredients that better address these problems.
