OWL members connect at ASCRS

Ophthalmic Women Leaders (OWL) will hold a networking reception and meeting Monday, April 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel. The event will take place during the annual meeting of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

-Ophthalmic Women Leaders (OWL) will hold a networking reception and meeting Monday, April 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel. The event will take place during the annual meeting of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

The evening program is designed to help attendees demystify social media and help them to use new media tools to get “plugged in.” The event is free to members and $15 for non-members.

In addition, OWL members are welcome to visit the OWL Sanctuary, where Internet access, bottled water/toiletries, and meeting spaces are among the amenities. The lounge is free to members and will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday through Monday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday. The lounge is located in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, near the Hall B entrance and technology station.
