Optos, Eyemaginations forge partnership

Medical technology company Optos is collaborating with Eyemaginations to produce animations designed to enable eye-care professionals to educate their patients about diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, glaucoma, and choroidal nevi.

Marlborough, MA, and Towson, MD-Medical technology company Optos is collaborating with interactive design and multimedia firm Eyemaginations to produce animations designed to enable eye-care professionals to educate their patients about diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, glaucoma, and choroidal nevi. The animations will be available through Optos' proprietary software (V2 Vantage).

Eyemaginations previously produced an educational video depicting the retinal exam image (optomap) produced by Optos' scanning laser ophthalmoscope (Panaromic200). That video is available as part of Eyemaginations' three-dimensional animation software program (3D-Eye Office), the aforementioned Optos proprietary software, and another Optos program (Reception Room).
