Optos, Eyemaginations forge partnership

Marlborough, MA, and Towson, MD-Medical technology company Optos is collaborating with interactive design and multimedia firm Eyemaginations to produce animations designed to enable eye-care professionals to educate their patients about diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, glaucoma, and choroidal nevi. The animations will be available through Optos' proprietary software (V² Vantage).

Eyemaginations previously produced an educational video depicting the retinal exam image (optomap) produced by Optos' scanning laser ophthalmoscope (Panaromic200). That video is available as part of Eyemaginations' three-dimensional animation software program (3D-Eye Office), the aforementioned Optos proprietary software, and another Optos program (Reception Room).
