OIG study finds ASCs a cost-effective option
Washington, DC-The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has issued a report that ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs) are a more cost-effective alternative to hospitals for surgical procedures.
