Late Complications of Filtering Surgery
Chicago-Hypotony develops when ocular outflow exceeds inflow and canresult from a number of conditions. These include: excessive filtrationafter trabeculectomy or Seton surgery, bleb leaks and inadvertent filteringblebs after cataract, cyclodialysis clefts, retinal detachment, intraocularinflammation, pharmacologic suppression with anti-glaucoma medication, cycliticmembranes, ocular ischemia, excessive cyclodestruction, and ocular trauma.Symptoms include blurred vision and dull eye pain.
