How quality vision builds a foundation for safety and everyday activities

As ophthalmologists observe Cataract Awareness Month this June, William L. Soscia, MD, medical director at Center for Sight, in Sarasota, Florida, focuses on the importance of having excellent vision for safety and everyday functions.

William L. Soscia, MD, explains how the Center for Sight participates in Mission Cataract and will perform 100 to 200 cataract surgery cases for free for patients who may not have insurance. He also discusses the various opportunities that patients have available to them to be less dependent on glasses after cataract surgery.
