Heidelberg Engineering Inc. announced the launch of a newly updated Web site. Several new features improve the ease of information retrieval and provide enhanced clinician and operator education for the company?s products.

Heidelberg Engineering Inc. announced the launch of a newly updated Web site. Several new features improve the ease ofinformation retrieval and provide enhanced clinician and operator education for the company's products.

The Web site, www.HeidelbergEngineering.com, includes:

  • An in-depth look at the technologies behind each instrument: confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope (HRT Glaucoma,Retina, and Cornea modules) and tracking laser tomograph that combines confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy and spectraldomain optical coherence tomography (Spectralis HRA, Spectralis OCT, and Spectralis HRA + OCT).
  • Image and movie libraries that demonstrate disease progression and pathologies over time, using different modes andfunctions.
  • Animations and videos that explain how each device delivers results that enable better clinical decisions.
  • Expanded education, support, reimbursement, and clinical application pages.
