Hand-painted lenses help unique cases

Green Valley, AZ—At Crystal Reflections Inc., artists hand-paint contact lenses for cosmetic and theatrical use.

But it is the work the firm does for patients with a range of eye disorders and traumas that is the most dramatic.

The staff works with eye-care professionals to develop the right lens to correct patients' unique eye problems, including amblyopia training, traumatic and post-surgical complications, aniridia, phthisis bulbi, iridoplegia, cataracts, albinism, diplopia, coloboma, and tropia.
