Dr. Harper becomes medical director in Virginia

Washington, DC-Stephanie Harper, MD, joined the Virginia Department of Health as the new medical director of the Roanoke and Alleghany Health Districts.

Washington, DC-Stephanie Harper, MD, joined the Virginia Department of Health as the new medical director of the Roanoke and Alleghany Health Districts.

Dr. Harper served as assistant professor and director of resident education, department of ophthalmology, Howard University Hospital, Washington, DC. She also worked as the chief of bureau of chronic disease for the District of Columbia Department of Health and as a member of the mayor's Advisory Board on Bioterrorism, Preparedness and Response in the District of Columbia.
