Duluth, GA-Norwood EyeCare has appointed distributors for its Centurion SES System with EpiEdge in Japan, Thailand, and Russia.

The company, a division of Norwood Abbey Ltd., expects Japan to be a solid market, since it has 110 laser vision-correction centers that performed more than 50,000 procedures in 2003. The first units there have already been used to treat patients. A distributor in Thailand also has placed an initial order for the disposable separator system.
