Scientists from globally renowned top medical institutions, including the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute, University Hospitals Eye Institute, and Akron Children’s Hospital Vision Center, will present their latest research findings on major blinding disorders including children’s vision issues, age-related macular degeneration, and glaucoma.
Cleveland Eye Bank Foundation (CEBF) is bringing 10 researchers together from 3 pm to 5 pm Feb. 28 for a Virtual Vision Research Symposium.
“Leading scientists from globally renowned top medical institutions, namely, Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute, University Hospitals Eye Institute, and Akron Children’s Hospital Vision Center, will present their latest research findings on major blinding disorders including children’s vision issues, age-related macular degeneration, and glaucoma,” Jonathan Lass, MD, said about the event in a news release. “They will provide possible future treatments of these diseases.”
The researchers participating are as follows:
“We are excited to showcase the breakthrough vision research from the institutions the Cleveland Eye Bank Foundation supports,” said CEBF Executive Director Debbie May-Johnson. “This work will have broad impact on the vision community.”
