At AAO 2021, Ajay Kuriyan, MD, presented his poster, "Fluctuations in central subfield thickness associated with worse visual outcomes in patients with diabetic macular edema in clinical trial setting."

This data was previously presented as a talk at the ASRS 39th Annual Scientific Meeting.

Kuriyan practices at the Wills Eye Institute. He is also assistant professor of ophthalmology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University.

The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) annual meeting was held November 12 to 15 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. The event included Subspecialty Days and a virtual component for remote participation.
