The first issue of the 2023 Video Journal of Cataract, Refractive, & Glaucoma Surgery has been released, presenting crucial knowledge for intraocular lens (IOL) surgeons. Addressing the need for IOL removal due to defects or unexpected refractive issues, this hour-long issue showcases a diverse range of routine and innovative techniques for IOL explantation.

Now in its 39th year, the VJCRGS continues to provide education for anterior segment surgeons globally. Published quarterly, the journal is a complimentary benefit for numerous cataract societies worldwide. It serves as a valuable resource for educating residents, fellows, and private practitioners, granting access to nearly four decades of content, according to its founder and editor Robert H. Osher, MD. Osher is Professor of Ophthalmology, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and Medical Director Emeritus, Cincinnati Eye Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio.
